lyrics

I went out to get a drink, but ended up in jail
don’t know what went wrong, ´cause I was drunk
Gin, whiskey and beer, I drank it like a fish
And crawled through the city like a rat
A riot was going on, so I tried to move along
But I was recognized, for something I didn`t do that night
I yelled and I screamed and I cursed and I spit
But they wouldn`t hear the words I had to say
Police don`t give a shit, no they just want to kick
A man that`s drunk and laying on the ground

I woke up in a cell, realized I was in jail
I thought they would have kicked me to death
They wouldn`t give me food, they wouldn`t give water
I sure hope they`ll burn up in hell
So I went before a judge, He said "son you`re pretty fucked"
I´ll send you to hell, and they kicked me right back to my cell

I yelled and I screamed and I cursed and I spit
But he wouldn`t hear the words I had to say
The judge don`t give a shit, no he just wants to kick
a man that`s drunk and laying on the ground

They´re traditional instruments such as violin, mandolin and banjo in a back alley fight with hard-hitting drums, pumping bass and loud guitars. They´re Irish pub punk - and they´re good ... more
